Her hope is to train future clinicians with a human-centered approach to healthcare in hopes of shifting the paradigm of the current healthcare system.
Parfianowicz - Neurovisual Integration Coach
There are times when conventional, cookie-cutter options are not effective. There are injuries, surgeries, and cardiovascular events that leave the body feeling disconnected, unbalanced, uncoordinated, and unwell.
Medical providers have been at a loss for what to prescribe to help a patient to recover pre-physical therapy basics, like eye-hand coordination and balanced slow gait. Neuro-visual integration is exactly that. A descriptor rather than a field of practice (for now), Gregory synthesizes his six years of vision therapy experience with his education/experience in postural restoration, physical therapy, physical education, and professional sports.
Gregory has helped athletes regain coordination post-concussion. He's worked in stroke recovery, post-surgical rebalancing for cross-patterning in gait, hyper and hypo-mobility challenges, and much more.
Education and Background
Gregory graduated in 1992 with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Physical Education in Warsaw and an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Coaching (European Handball).
Gregory has several CEU certificates in biomechanics and postural education.
